Nomada Himalaya Treks And Expedition

Dhaulagiri Marathon

Welcome to One of the World’s Most Remote & Untouched Trail Races

Deep in the western Himalayas of Nepal lies a hidden gem — the Dhaulagiri Trail Marathon, an expedition-style ultra adventure designed for those who dare to test their physical limits in the shadows of the world’s 7th highest peak – Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m).

This isn’t just a marathon. It’s a journey through raw wilderness, ancient glaciers, high mountain passes, and isolated valleys that few people on Earth ever set foot in.

The Dhaulagiri Trail is remote, wild, brutally beautiful — and absolutely unforgettable.

What Makes This Trail Special?

  • Rare & Untouched Terrain: Unlike popular routes like Everest or Annapurna, the Dhaulagiri Circuit sees far fewer visitors. You’ll run where few have ever run before.
  • Massive Geographic Variety: From lush forests of rhododendron and pine to icy moraines and glacier fields at over 5,000 meters, this trail offers everything.
  • Expedition Feel: Camping under the stars, no teahouses, no towns — just you, your team, and the mighty Himalayas.
  • Two Major High Passes:
    • French Pass (5,360m)
    • Dhampus Pass (5,200m)
These sections are both awe-inspiring and challenging, demanding mental focus and physical preparation.
