Chulu West Peak Climbing

Experience a thrilling 20-day climb to Chulu West Peak (6,419m) in Nepal’s Annapurna region. This challenging trek takes you through scenic forests, alongside the Marsyangdi River, and past charming villages like Jagat, Dharapani, and Chame.

After trekking to Ledar, a steep climb leads to Base Camp (4,820m) and High Camp (5,100m). The summit offers stunning views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Nilgiri peaks.

The descent includes crossing the famous Thorung-La Pass (5,416m) before reaching the sacred site of Muktinath.

Day 01 :
Arrival in Kathmandu

Meet your guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest and acclimatize.

Day 02 :
Preparation Day

Gather trekking gear, obtain permits, and attend a pre-trek briefing.

Day 03 :
Drive to Jagat

Scenic drive from Kathmandu to Jagat via Besisahar and several villages. Overnight in Jagat.

Day 04 :
Trek to Dharapani

Trek 5 hours through forests and along the Marsyangdi River to Dharapani.

Day 05 :
Trek to Chame

Continue trekking through pine and oak forests, with views of Mt. Manaslu and Annapurna II. Overnight in Chame.

Day 06 :
Trek to Pisang

Pass waterfalls and rhododendron forests en route to Pisang (3,300m).

Day 07 :
Trek to Manang Village

Trek via Ghyaru Village with stunning Himalayan views; overnight in Manang.

Day 08 :
Acclimatization in Manang

Rest day with optional visits to Gangapurna Lake and Mountaineering School.

Day 09 :
Trek to Ledar

Trek through rural communities to Ledar, enjoying views of Annapurna III and Chulu Peak.

Day 10 :
Trek to Chulu West Base Camp

Steep 4-hour climb to Base Camp (4,820m) with panoramic mountain views.

Day 11 :
Trek to High Camp

Continue ascent to High Camp (5,520m), navigating some technical sections.

Day 12 :
Summit Chulu West Peak

Climb to summit (6,419m) using ropes and crampons; return to Base Camp.

Day 13 :
Trek to Thorung Phedi

Descend to Marsyangdi River and trek to Thorung Phedi overnight in teahouse.

Day 14 :
Cross Thorung-La Pass and trek to Muktinath

Cross the 5,416m pass and continue to sacred Muktinath temple.

Day 15 :
Trek to Kagbeni

Descend through Jharkot village to Kagbeni in Kali Gandaki valley.

Day 16 :
Trek to Jomsom

Trek past apple orchards to Jomsom, Mustang’s district center.

Day 17 :
Flight to Pokhara

Fly to Pokhara, visit local attractions like Davi’s Fall and Fewa Lake.

Day 18 :
Drive to Kathmandu

Scenic 6-hour drive back to Kathmandu; rest or shop.

Day 19 :
Explore Kathmandu or relax

Free day for sightseeing or rest.

Day 20 :
Departure

Transfer to airport for your flight home.
